Carolyn Jones of the San Francisco Chronicle yesterday wrote on Walnut Creek's plans to pluge ahead with the library project despite failure of the state bond. Save Civic Park supports the City's position, but Hardy Miller of No on R makes a strong point - the City could save a heck of a lot of money by cutting the garage from the project.
