Democrat Chris Daly is the Activist to Shake up the Party
Adriel Hampton, D-Dublin, Congressional candidate and founder of Save Civic Park, had endorsed San Francisco Supervisor Chris Daly, a well-known progressive activist, for election to Region 4 Director of the California Democratic Party.
"Chris Daly is the kind of advocate we need in these times," Hampton said. "Chris was right in his support for Howard Dean, for his opposition of the Iraq war, and his support for Barack Obama."

Library Article in the Chron
Carolyn Jones of the San Francisco Chronicle yesterday wrote on Walnut Creek's plans to pluge ahead with the library project despite failure of the state bond. Save Civic Park supports the City's position, but Hardy Miller of No on R makes a strong point - the City could save a heck of a lot of money by cutting the garage from the project. Save Civic long opposed building an aboveground garage for the project, based in part on the fact that the mega garage two blocks away is NEVER full. ...
